About us
The Author
Hi, there! My name is Maria-Ignacia. I am a daughter of God; a mother; a wife; a teacher by profession; among so many other things. I have found that all the roles I fulfill in my life come down to trying to elevate my soul to heaven, and hopefully, setting a good example for my kids to achieve that too.
How can I take my children's soul and mine to heaven? I don't really have the answer to that. But what I do know is that we should draw inspiration from the Saints and work hard to become saints ourselves.
I like to think we can all get to heaven by giving our best effort in our daily tasks. Sanctifying ourselves in the midst of our ordinary lives is all about offering your work to Him, just like St. Josemaría Escriva believed.
It is very hard for me to do great things when I am frazzled by everyday life as a stay at home mother of three little ones, so I find comfort in following St. Thérèse of Lisieux and her "little way" of living a holy life by doing small things for His glory.

Our Mission
The Little Way Academy wants to help parents raise their children in a Godly manner, providing a safe and loving environment where children are able to experiment, question, read, create, and explore their different interests, guided by our Catholic teachings and principles.
We strive to curate the best curriculum by finding books, activities and different resources that parents can implement with their children.
Our Vision
Each child is a unique person with different dimensions. All these dimensions are worthy of being catered to and educated in a way that will glorify our Lord.
We are on Earth to learn to love, live a life of service, and save our souls to go to our Heavenly Father. We believe in leading a virtuous life based on prayer as a conversation with the Holy Trinity. Basing our educational choices on building a strong relationship with God is the number one objective alongside aiding our children to feed their hearts, souls and brains with beautiful ideas.

Our Philosophy
Follow our children's interests, guiding and exposing them to diverse environments and experiences to deepen their love for learning and enhance their knowledge; providing meaningful activities to approach the object of their curiosity.
Raise our offspring to uphold catholic values such as love of God, dignity of human life, importance of family, living a virtuous life, and spirit of service towards the common good.
