Catholic Education the Charlotte Mason Way

Why choose The Little Way?
Because it is a curriculum chosen to teach the child as a whole person. It's centered in your child and based on our Catholic Faith. It can be implemented with as much or as little as you would like. It is made as a "you make your own" curriculum, where you choose which books to present to your student and which suggested corresponding activities you want to do.

Our Curriculum
Our Curriculum is created for every age (grade level), with specific activities and recommendations for each year of life. The unit studies stem from bible passages and encompass everything our little ones need to learn, but from a pure Catholic and Bible-inspired place.
Committed to finding fun ways to learn from everyday-life-experiences, we have compiled different activities you can do with your family even in the most mundane situations.
Our Activities
With so many things that happen in everyday life it would be a waste to let those instances pass by without taking advantage of them as learning experiences. Check out the recommendations for daily-life events on this post. And even though we don't believe in giving kids "busy work", we have included a few 'filler activities' for those instances in which you need to focus on other things while your little ones are learning or working on a worksheet related to the occasion.

Our Reading Recommendations
With a selection of both faith-based and secular books, we strive to incentivize our children to enjoy reading. Whether it is a fun adventure story or a very dramatic novel, from a news article to an instruction manual, it is important to expose our kids to multiple types of texts and topics so they get in tune with their interests and how to research for information when they want to learn about a specific subject.
However, exposing our kids to good quality reading is the main objective, so even if you can only do a few books, we will recommend those who are full of living ideas.
